"My biggest concern is having to wear a suit and tie." - crypto dev
Digital Asset Summit just wrapped - the week for crypto institutions to shine.
Three things that stood out:
The sheer number of private dinners.
Easily 30+ invite-only, VIP, and "Michelin* Dinner for Investors" events (that one alone ran across multiple nights).Stablecoins dominated the event agenda. Stablecoin coffee, sunset, salon, even encrypted stablecoin discussions. It's undeniably the hottest sub-topic within the institutional theme.
AI was barely represented. Just one explicitly AI-focused side event across the entire week. Given how dominant the AI x crypto narrative has been, it's almost conspicuous by its absence.

“Crypto conferences used to be 3 parties per one evening. Now it’s 3 kinds of workouts per one morning.”
ETHCC moving to Cannes fundamentally shaped the side event culture, introducing luxury-themed events you'd never see at a Paris conference.
Some trends we’re seeing:
Activity-based networking replaced passive drinking. Wellness emerged as a genuine new social format. Now you can choose which protocol you want to go on a run with, do yoga, padel, tennis, boxing, play petanque. You name it. Use our wellness filter.
Parties are down 80%. Events are now smaller, more curated and more ROI focused. The luxury party phenomenon, which made up 15% of all side events in 2025, with budgets between $50k-100k, is at its all time low across other conferences too.
Coliving/Pop-Up cities vanished. Last year’s experiment didn’t carry forward - from 13 setups to none this year.
RWA replaced AI as the hot topic, graduating from niche to being centerpiece.
Events we’re supporting: WalletCon, Traders Summit.

Dubai hits pause
Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, TOKEN2049 Dubai is postponed to April 2027
Other major one-day conferences followed suit and The Bahrain and Saudi F1 Grand Prix races also cancelled
This is bad timing for crypto, as some exchanges have spent tens to hundreds of millions of dollars on F1 partnerships
How did crypto respond? Permissionlessly, of course. Budget are going towards events at Consensus Miami and ETHConf NYC.

Crypto right now
"I’m debating between becoming a finance bro or building a unicorn with 200 AI agents." - crypto dev
What crypto companies are doing in the bear market
Adopting a new identity and expanding TAM to either finance, AI or institutions.
Doing BD via curated private dinners - that is where all the action happens. If you can’t get invited to one, host one.
We built a bot that registers you for all your side events

After seeing people replace their EAs and set up their OpenClaw, we jumped on the train to build our own
Select your events and fill out all forms in one interface. Our bot will then apply on your behalf
Disclaimer: Save hours, not spam. We cap applications to encourage you to only sign up for events you’ll actually attend. TLDR; Mass applying to 100+ events won’t be possible.
